Street food as a worldwide cultural landmark

Here is what it will happen!
Join this three-day MeetUp in Napoli and discover how street food and culture merge to provide an unique city atmosphere!
Furthermore, you will discover Napoli, the city where buildings, churches, streets, ancient fortresses and castles in the sea, as well as natural caves and places impregnated with mystery and mysticism, makes the city unforgettable in the minds of all travellers.

We will share further information with the first 20 people who register.

Participation's eligibility
MeetUps are organized mainly for DiscoverEU participants travelling in Italy during the MeetUp's dates.
DiscoverEU ambassadors living in Italy may also participate, but priority for participation is granted to participants coming from countries different from Italy.
DiscoverEU candidates in waiting list may also apply for participation, but priority for participation is granted to participants who won the PASS and are using it to travel in Italy.

Participation's regulations
Accommodation, food, local transportations (and equipment where needed) during the MeetUp's days will be covered for all confirmed participants.
Travels to MeetUp's arrival location and from departure location (Napoli Central Station) will be entirely borne to the participants.
Participants will be also responsible for any personal insurance coverages [e.g., travel coverage, third party liability coverage, medical payments coverage (for the part not covered by the European Health Insurance Card), personal injury protection, etc.] while traveling to/from and during the MeetUp's days.

Number of available places
This MeetUp is open up to 20 participants.
Participation will be granted on the first come, first served basis, until places last.

Napoli
Naples, Italian Napoli, Latin Neapolis (meaning New Town), lies on the west coast of the Italian peninsula, 190 km southeast of Rome. On its celebrated bay - flanked to the west by the smaller Gulf of Pozzuoli and to the southeast by the more extended indentation of the Gulf of Salerno - the city is situated between two areas of volcanic activity: Mount Vesuvius to the east and the Campi Flegrei (Phlegraean Fields) to the northwest. 
During your stay you'll have a chance to know more about the city and to discover how street food (Napoli is the hometown of pizza) become a cultural landmark renowned worldwide.

11:30 - 13:00 - Presentation of the participants; Introduction to the 3-day schedule and get together

15:00 - 17:30 - Guided tour of the city center (and getting acquainted with street food)
17:30 - 19:30 - Guided tour of Napoli Underground
20:00 - 22:30 - Dinner

September 5th

09:30 - 11:30 - Visit to Castel dell'Ovo
11:30 - 13:00 - How to create and bake your own pizza [Workshop]
13:00 - 14:30 - Lunch (pizza tasting)
15:00 - 17:30 - Gulf of Naples guided boat tour

20:00 - 22:00 - Dinner

September 6th
09:30 - 12:30 - Visit to Mount Vesuvius
